Among many of his public services duties, Mr. Yue has held positions as the special advisor of the Maritime Silk Road Society, member of General Committee of Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of Chinese Banking Association of Hong Kong, council member of Hong Kong Trade Development Council and member of Currency Board Sub-Committee of Exchange Fund Advisory Committee.
Professor Hong Fung is Professor of Practice in Health Services Management at the Jockey Club School of Public Health & Primary Care (JCSPHPC), The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). He is also the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the CUHK Medical Centre (CUHKMC).

He was Founding Chairman of the Hong Kong Retirement Schemes Association, acts as an advisor or trustee to a number of funds and was the Chairman of the CFA Institute Advisory Council on Standards and Financial Market Integrity.
